Veterinary Science is the study of preventing, diagnosis as well as
treatment of diseases/disorders in animals. A person who treats animals
is known as a veterinarian or veterinary doctors. The Veterinary Council
of India conducts an all India entrance examination for filling up
seats on merit in each Veterinary colleges in India for BVSc. & A.H.
course.
While most veterinarians have medical offices, many who work on
animals other than domestic pets, such as farm animals, travel to treat
their patients on site.
